95% Clairette 5% Bouboulenc hand harvested in small baskets to prevent oxidation & retain the fresh natural acidity & verve of the regions whites. The grapes are then sorted manually, selecting only the best fruit to be processed. It’s a time consuming and arduous task but the proof is in the pudding. These wines are excellent drinking in their youth but age beautifully for many years.

The complex and delicate nose mixes the aromas of citrus fruits, pears and white flowers. While the palate zips along with peach, citrus, apples & pears and persists with great length and appealing aftertaste. An ideal accompaniment to your seafood of choice.

Organic. Bandol, with its stone fields, sun and wide spread of varieties, is also one of the oldest vineyard areas in France. The first vines to be planted were by those clever Romans 2500 years ago. Château Vannières is recognized as one of the most prestigious domains of Bandol.

Located between the village of La Cadiere d’Azur and Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, the Vannières castle is exposed south-west and preserved to the north by the Sainte Baume massif. In 1957, Lucien Boudot, a winemaker in Beaujolais and Rhone Valley, acquired this Domaine which has 33 hectares in production. Eric Boisseaux (his grandson), is working to evolve the style of Chateau Vannières, combining it with the expertise of modern oenology, while respecting the originality of the terroir and the grape varieties . The soil, composed of marls and limestones, gives fine tannins, powerful and complex bouquets.
