Chateau Rauzan-Ségla Margaux Bordeaux 2010

$380.00

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Cabernet Franc from AOC Margaux. 90 points, Tim Atkin MW –  “Attractive Margaux made in a very approachable style, even for a 2009, with sweet cassis fruit and stylish oak integration. The wine has good acidity for the vintage, with elegant, fine-grained tannins and good palate length. “

Jancis Robinson – 16.5 / 20 – “More than half of production (of Rauzan-Segla) is this second wine at this property. Minerally. Fine and dense and upright. Real structure here. Bravo!”

92 points, James Suckling – “Black cherry and fresh mushroom, with hints of currants and sweet tobacco. Full- bodied, with chewy, yet polished tannins. Lovely berry and cherry. Racy and pretty. So delicious now.”

More Information

This is the second wine of Chateau Rauzan-Segla: Ségla is made of grapes from the youngest vines of the property (less than 10 years old).

Since 1994, when CHANEL bought the property, many improvements have been made in the cellars and in the vineyards.

The aim is to produce a wine that speaks of Margaux terroir while catching glimpses of the estate’s super premium wine, Château Rauzan-Ségla.
