Join us for a comparative tasting between Burgundy & Bordeaux (with a little bit of Champagne). Spectacular Bordeaux represents the worlds’ greatest Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blends! From Bordeaux we will be sampling some left bank Cabernet dominated wines, as well as a delicious white (Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon) from Pessac-Leognan. While Burgundy is tiny in terms of production next to Bordeaux, it too is the absolute benchmark, the yard stick, the holy grail for its specialist varietals Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This tasting isn’t about which region is better, it’s about how great these two magnificent French regions are and perhaps about helping guide you when making your desert island wine decision.
