Chateau De La Ragotiere Muscadet Sevre Et Maine Sur Lie 2019
- 91 Points – Silver Medal – 2018 Decanter – World Wine Awards – “Broad, brothy and rich, this wine holds its freshness close to its core. It grows on mica schist soils, the vines between 40 and 60 years old, their fruit focused, persistent and clean, but needing bottle age to gain full expression.”
- 92 Points – Editor’s Choice – Wine Enthusiast Magazine – Best of Year – “Old vines, up to 60 years old, are the basis of this concentrated, ripe and intense wine, with layers of rich citrus fruit and chalky texture. This is still a little young so drink from 2018.
Domaine D’Orfeuilles Vouvray Sec 2020
- The “Sec” (dry) comes from a south-east facing “Les Coudraies” vineyard. These old vines are planted on limestone subsoil with clay and Siliceous soils and harvested when the grapes are at peak ripeness with some grapes harvested just over-ripe.2020 was a warmer year in the Loire and this wine shows a full palate. It’s beautifully aromatic. Flavours of honey, stone fruits, peach, grapefruit gives way to fresh acid thrills and lengthy appeal.
Domaine Du Nozay Sancerre 2019
- The 2019 has arrived. An elegant and discrete aromatic display of citrus (pink grapefruit, lychee and lemon) but mostly yellow peach. The palate is fresh cut pear in syrup, grapefruit, citrus & chalky crunch all perfectly balanced with acidity, structure and fruit; its crisp & refreshing, flavoursome and gluggable.
