Winery Notes: Our winery is located in the area of ​​Valdobbiadene known as “Il Settolo”. It is between the hills and the glorious Piave river, which flows through these lands to Venice. Our winery is established in the heart of this area. It was built upon a small, rustic building, which is owned by Mattiazzo Family since more than 100 years.
Our winery is surrounded by grapevines, which was once owned by two ancestors: John and Venanzio, who were among the first to plant them in this area. Untill the eighties the wine was used just for barter and for personal consumption.
Twenty years ago Leo, grandson of Giovanni, established a modern winery by renovating the vineyards and restoring the house. Nowadays, he is assisted by his wife and their two daughters: Jessica and Mara.
Harvested in our own six hectares of vineyards, managed by the family in every single step: the blooming, the ripening and the “ritual” of harvest, when you collect the efforts of the whole year.

This wine comes specifically from the DOC of Treviso.
