- Domaine Dumien Serrette Cornas Cuvee Patou 2018 – (91-93) points – Joe Czerwinski – robertparker.com – “This microproducer draws fruit from 80-year-old vines in the lieu-dit of Patou. The 2017 Cornas Patou is full-bodied and intense, with an attractive dusty texture of chalk dust, charcoal and crushed stone. Red currant and cassis aromas and flavors complement those stony elements, picking up a bit of cracked pepper on the finish.”
- Champagne Nathalie Falmet Brut NV – 91 points – robertparker.com – “Nathalie Falmet NV Brut is made of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay (both 2011) and 20% Reserve (from a Soléra started in 2009). Its refined aromas of bright fruits migrate to a very light and delicate first palate. This champagne is dry (dosage: seven grams per litre) and firmly structured, but really fine and elegant, and provided with a good length and subtle mineral flavours.” – Robert Parker”
- Chateau Phelan-Segur Saint-Estephe 2015 – 17.5/20 – Jancis Robinson – “Dark crimson. Sweet, ‘modern’ and beguiling. Very different from most St-Estèphes. Luxurious and not that typical of the appellation but certainly seems designed to score points! Rich. Just the right side of chocolatey. Bone-dry finish.”
